Arrived second day of week-long est. delivery window. CAREFULLY packaged - no cracked CD case here! Condition at least as good as advertised. Listing said "disc only," but came with everything, which I very much appreciate. The price was excellent, and included free shipping. Though I will not need it, seller would accept return. Seller was very prompt and accommodating in responding to my inquiries. In short, a GREAT transaction. I hope to do business with Brian again.

Unbelievably perfect in every way. Arrived lightning fast (without tracking but faster than orders with tracking). Item was very carefully packaged (bubble wrapped inside of a bubble wrap envelope). This CD was listed as “Very Good” but I beg to differ. The CD and the cover and everything is absolutely like new. The price was remarkably low. I am saving this seller under “favorites” and look forward to browsing their store some more just to “window shop”. It doesn’t get any better than this. A++

    Brilliant Leon Redbone album

I love Leon Redbone and this is one of his best albums. He is not really a songwriter but interpenetrates other peoples songs, and most of of the ones on here were written by the best. "Lazy Bones" by Hoagy Carmicheal and Johnny Mercer. He tackles two by Irvin Berlin," Marie", and "My Walking Stick". He also does a brilliant "Polly Wolly Doodle" which is listed as traditional. If you like albums like Ry Cooder's "Paradise and Lunch" and Willie Nelson's "Moonlight Becomes You" then buy this, even if you don't , buy it anyway. brilliant

  • The south will rise again!

I used to listen to Leon Redbone some years ago on LP and this was one of my favorite recordings. I recently purchased his BRANCH TO BRANCH CD which immediately rekindled by love for his music! A few days after that CD arrived I purchased this one. The textures are rich and the performances are top notch. Leon has a unique sort of mumbly and grovely voice that brings new life to some old time favorites and his original songs are even better. I love the use of a tuba in the rhythm section for bass...you have to hear it to believe how rich it sounds. My wife thinks I listen to all sorts of strange music and only likes about 25% of what I play. When she heard Leon Redbone for the first time instead of telling me to turn down the volume she asked me who was playing and commented on how good it ...

  • The wonderful Leon Redbone

Leon Redbone is one fantastic singer...and this is one of his best CDs. He has a truly one-of-a-kind voice, with wonderful range of mostly traditional song titles. I first heard him sing on a Prairie Home Campanion, and became and instant fan. When I first heard him on the radio, I thought he was a black, older, American guy, probably from the Deep South. I was shocked when he turned out to be a younger (but not so young now), white, Canadian guy, with a mysterious background. But never mind, you will love his music.
