The thing is like a headband and good for keeping your glasses tight onto your face if that's what you want. The straps are just too short for me. I wanted these for reading glasses to hang around my neck until I needed to put them on to read a package in a store etc. These might be good for swimming they fit me so snug.

I have a small head and nose but the length is too short to put on with cord attached. So you just put 1 end on, put behind your ears and head, then attach other end. Only problem is taking off with glasses still attached, I had to pull the arms outward - not a good idea.
