The items were exactly as described, the price was amazing, packing was perfect (even had all the original boxes, manuals, and cables!), shipping was same day as the purchase, and the communication was fast. I can't imagine a more perfect experience on eBay.

1. Really Fast Shipping. 2. Product works and is as described… (Could have used better packaging and a slightly lower price for the item) Was a pleasant experience shopping with you and will shop with you again if you have something I might need in the future.

Items were not exactly as described. Ryzen CPU's arrived with several bent pins. Was able to correct and CPU's are functioning as intended. Issue on one of the two CPU's may have just been from poor packaging. Seller was responsive to my issues and accepted some constructive feedback, made the best of what could have been a poor experience.

    Upgraded From I7 920

I overclocked my I7 920 to 3.46ghz before upgrading just to see what would happen... It was a bit faster, but the idle temp went from 95-109 to 133-140F. I installed the I7 980x and the idle temp has been about 109-120F and under what used to be a heavy load where I've see my 920 hit 163F, the 980x only went up to 136F. Everything works better even without overclocking the new CPU. This CPU will tell on all your other inferior parts lol. I'm now 110% sure that I (finally) need to upgrade my GPU from the gtx560 I've had since before I had this PC. If you're thinking about Upgrading from the 920, this is a good buy. However, I'm probably going to keep my old 920 just to have something to fall back on if the 980x fails...

  • A great lesson

I believe it's working fine. My only concern is that there are contacts at the bottom that are burnt, not smudge or blemish, but apparently it worked when I installed it. I Only used once since I use another computer for my daily use. If only there was a picture of the other side when I bought it, I'd probably did not buy it. My negligence. I don't know if it will work properly when I put the computer into heavy load.

  • Intel Core i7 980 Extreme Edition

The Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 980X. Intel Core i7 EE 980X is the first processor based six-core Intel Hyper-Threading supported. Therefore, this processor is able to handle 12 threads simultaneously. Simultaneos Multi Threading or Hyper-threading is a technology that allows each core in Nehalem-based processors to be able to process a 2-thread instruction at once simultaneously. So can improve application performance and multi-tasking. This processor can handle 12 threads simultaneously. Three-channel memory support and the Turbo Boost feature is still present in this CPU. Core i7 980X is made with 32 nm production process, even as the ranks of Clarkdale processor that was launched some time ago. Although it is said to resemble the architecture, of course there is something new that ...

  • i7 980X CPU

Having one of the short lived 1366 socket MB, I was looking for a way to breath new life without big dollar$. Upgraded from a 950 CPU 4-core 3.04 GHz, which runs good, to this faster 6-core. Have not overclocked this beast (remember the 'X') and do not see a need, but with a liquid cooler who knows????

  • Lastest Enthusiast Xeon Variant

Unlike its predecessors, this Extreme Edition chip actually comes with a usable heatsink/fan. Regardless, I never trust stock fans anyway. This chip runs great out of the box, within 10 minutes I had it clocked to 4.3Ghz with all "12" cores running. Needless to say, while being at a similar clock as my i7 920, this thing BLAZES! With the new 32nm process, this thing can not only take 12 beatings at once, but will also idle and load at fairly cooler temperatures. This is a definite upgrade for any enthusiast looking to enter the Extreme market. I'd still not recommend it if you already own the i7 965 or 975, as the performance difference will not be as significant.
