    Sturdy mesh dog gate fits my 2007 Volvo XC70 very well

    This dog gate is composed of two folding bars, sturdy mesh, and adjustable straps. When folded for storage or shipping, it takes up about as much space as my camping tent. The top bar snaps into fixtures in the roof of my car and the straps cinch the bottom bar tight to metal clips on the floor. It fits my car (2007 Volvo XC70) well although the gaps at the ends are probably big enough for my 12 pound puppy to squirm through. No worries, he will outgrow that soon enough! The mesh is very sturdy- though a particularly destructive dog could probably damage it. I do notice slightly reduced rear view with the gate in place, but the mesh seems like a much better option than other gates made with bars. Overall, this is a great product and works well with my car.
