    Just What I Needed

    I've owned an S2 Skyrocket for over four years. A couple of months ago, the screen bled and went black apparently for no reason. I had not yet backed up my texts or anything else to Google but did have a Kies backup. So I shopped for a used S2 that would work so I could download everything from the Kies backup and then upload to Google and then download to my new S7 Edge. This phone was in excellent shape and worked just fine. The screen is extremely clear and bright, even outdoors. The form factor is large enough to see but small enough to fit in a pocket. And it's attractive. I'll be taking it to AT&T to test on a sim card and then put it back up for sale on eBay to pass on to someone else.     Great Presentation, Poor Battery

    From a technical perspective, the phone succeeds. For the price, it looks great, its lightweight and has many good services and features to help anyone. But the problem for me with this phone is that it lacks the ability to actually respond to a lot of things and takes a while to process information which can be very frustrating. If you're just looking for a cheap, throwaway phone then buy, but for long term use, youd be better off buying something else.

    Nice phone, great features, easy to use BUT BATTERY DIES FAST

    I heard pretty good reviews about this phone but i needed to see by myself and write a review. First its so easy to use, going through menus and apps is not longer an issue. Speed is incredible and decent at 3g. HD video and pics are breathtaking, i noticed that you actually can edit pics in the phone with close to pro features found in softwares like adobe. The swipe thing for texting is so useful. I bought it because i wanted an everything in one...phone, mp3 player and nike + plus app for runners. Just one thing.... Battery dies pretty fast, you'll need a second set of battery or carry your charger everywhere you go...i dont like how it looks that extension battery. Good phone for what i was looking for.

    Great Phone for under $75, However it is still 3 years old

    Despite being over 3 years old, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is still an amazing phone. It can be updated to Android 4.1 ICS. It's 8MP camera shoots very clear and vivid photos almost identical to the S3. It has a fast dual core processor with 1GB of RAM so it can run most apps and games available without a problem. Also, it has a very nice screen that can be very bright. The battery life is good, although with normal use I get about 6-7 hours between charges. The design and build quality is good, with the same plastic body Samsung uses on all it's phones and tablets. Overall, this is still a good phone if you want a quality smartphone for under $75. For around $50 more, you could get a Moto G which has a quad-core processor and is much newer. However, the S2 is still a great contender for a ...

    Amazing Phone - says ex-Blackberry user

    Was a hardcore Blackberry user. Finally made the leap to the Android system with the Galaxy S II. In the first week, I was ready to take the phone back. This was primarily due to poor battery life. Then I figured out the phone and now I absolutely love this phone. Battery life is better than my Bberry. I can leave the phone off charger for several days with no issues. The apps are amazing. I had no problems connecting to my work email (exchange server). Only issue I have is that I need a 3rd party app to sync with my Outlook at home (not an exchage server). I would highly recommend.
