    Nougat upgrade is difficult, but totally worth it

    There are technical challenges to rooting this device, installing TWRP Recovery, and then installing LineageOS 14.1 (Android 7.1.2) with the latest Google apps from OpenGApps...but it makes a pretty amazing tablet when you're done. If you can imagine a Nexus 7 with a MicroSD card slot and bigger screen, running Nougat...all for about $70 used. It's an amazing deal. Note that you have to downgrade to the KitKat bootloader to root, and the LineageOS builds are unofficial (but current and really rock solid).

    LG has created a powerhouse in the G pad 8.3

    The display is excellent, with a 1920×1200, every video & image is bright, crisp, and truely resolute. Also, the multi-tasking abuility is outstanding, rivaling most medium to high end laptops plus the battery power to back it up with idle times on full charge in upwards of 48 hours and run times in the upper 20's. The sim card option is also a plus being able to use it with wi-fi or if not available, 4g speeds from verizon... The price might be a little high but thats retail stores, and also one of the reasons we have eBay, and other online venus, where the price is much more reasonable. Probably the best tablet I have had the privilege to test.

    I LIKE IT

    Oversized 7inch screen to 8.3 inch is superb idea and size and great resolution. Its an older model tablet but its still good enough for basic household needs. I run it mostly in my car with TORQUE app to see car diagnostics and analysis. Its great size allows it to be very visible even from the back seat. NICE. Battery life not too good but many older tablets have this same issue.

    Tablet arrived quickly and as described. Had trouble with getting it to charge initially. Turned out to be an issue with charging cable they supplied. That was the only disappointment. I bought a replacement cable and tablet charged fine. Overall satisfied with transaction.

    Great value

    This tablet is a great deal. It has 2Gb RAM which helps it stay snappy. It's very handy to have the wireless capability which also works with T-mobile's network.
