This Motorola mobile phone is a multi-communications device through Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (IDEN). The Motorola I1000 operates on 800 MHz, 900 MHz, and 1500 MHz frequency bands. This cellular phone is a combination of Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and GSM technology, allowing the user to use the device as a phone, pager, two-way radio, and fax or modem. This Motorola mobile phone has a removable 900-mAh battery with a maximum talktime of three hours and a maximum standby time of 45 hours. The form factor of this black cellular phone from Sprint is clamshell, it has a belt clip, and is a flip phone. Features on the Motorola I1000 include last 10 calls received/sent, missed call indicator, vibrator mode, voicemail, and turbo dialing. This Motorola mobile phone is designed for business use, and has DirectConnect, which allows the user to operate the phone as a two-way radio, or to have a three-way conference call. The weight of this unit is 6 oz, and its measurements are 4.5 inches tall by 2.2 inches high by 1.2 inches deep.

    Motorola i1000

    I have Cerebral Palsy and am also hearing impaired. I like this particular cell phone because it is loud! and easy to use. I wish Motorola would bring this back into production and start selling them again brand new. I wish I hadn't given up my original i1000, it was still pristine shape. Others have broken off the outlet cover for the charger, mine wasn't.

    Super phone!!!

    I've had one of these phones since 2001. I still have the original battery and I keep in on at all times. Even in the charger. I dropped it I don't know how many times and I even kicked accross a parking lot by mistake after dropping it. This phone is one of the best, if not the best phone Motorola ever made. It's a no frills, do it all phone that takes a beating!

    LOVE THE I 1000

    I have used the I1000 for years and would not go to the new little ones unless I could not buy these anymore. My husband and kids all have the new little ones and I can never figure them out or see the screen. I am so glad that I am still able to purchase these on ebay. I give the walkie-talkies to all my employees and they are very abused but keep on ticking.

    LIKE THE SIZE.....LARGER THAN MOST LOVE THE WALKIE/TALKIE FEATURE, WOULDN'T BE WITHOUT IT DISLIKE THE BATTERIES RUNNING LOW SO FAST, NEEDS IMPROVEMENT DECIDED TO BUY BECAUSE OF WALKIE/TALKIE FEATURE WITH NEXTEL/SPRINT PUTTING IN MORE TOWERS, I EXPECT THE SERVICE TO IMPROVE AND IT ALREADYS BEATS MOST SERVERS. PHONE IS EASY TO USE, EASY TO PROGRAM, HAS A HANDS FREE FEATURE WHEN SOMEONE CALLS YOU, WHICH CAN'T BE BEAT. ROMA

    i1000 Plus

    This phone holds a good charge and works great as a cell phone and walkie talkie. It's a perfect phone for someone who doesn't need "bells and whistles" but wants a phone they can talk on AND two way talk on!
