Happy with ti
I struggled with what SATRAD to get. Should get a module that went with the car radio or a separate one with and interface. I went with this and got the boom box too. It is the older model but it has great quality; I like it better than the new ones. And, I can move it from car to car or to the house: ALL WITH ONE SUBSCRIPTION!! Skyfi 2 XM radio with home and car kit.
The skyfi2 will fit into a boom-box which also contains a CD player and am/fm radio. It is easy to maneuver. Unless one reads the directions, one will be confused by all the buttons, but it is relatively simple to operate once you have figured out the system. Because it comes with the home and car kit, there is nothing else one needs to purchase (other than speakers for the home).

Fits our needs
We wanted an XM that would replace our old SkyFi and could be used in either car or in our house. The SkyFi2 we bought was the ONLY XM radio that could fill the bill. It works with the FM modulator I installed in my wife's car years ago. Since it has a built in FL modulator, it works in my car replacing the Roady2. And it works in the SkyFi "boombox" in our house. Now we have one XM subscription (instead of two) and a radio that works in all three locations.
