This album has a lot of great songs on it, but is it considered a studio album? I'm not sure if you'd consider this a studio album or not, because there are some songs that are on Aftermath and Between The Buttons and possibly some of their earlier albums, but at the same time there are songs that are not on any other album. So if you're a die hard Stones fan, you almost need this to complete your collection. Even if you're not, there are a lot of cool songs on here that are not on other albums. I know the Beatles used the same tactic to sell albums. They put out albums that had half new material and songs that had been on previous albums. I don't know who did it first, but it makes us die hard fans buy albums that overlap on some songs just to have the ones we don't have. Kind of a ripoff, but what are you going to do? Several bands have done this since to some success. Motley Crue came out with Decade of Decadence (I believe in the early 90's), and I just had to have the album with Primal Scream, although I didn't need the rest. I already owned all of their previous albums, so I pretty much already had everything that was on Decade (I know a cover of Anarchy in the UK is on there and another song I can't remember but I think it was good-Angela maybe?, not sure, can't remember for sure). And I didn't really care about having a remix of Home Sweet Home that pretty much sounded the same as the original, so I kind of felt a little ripped off, although it is nice having all the hits on one album. Adding 1 or 2 songs to a greatest hits package makes die hard fans buy the album, but we feel a little disappointed if we have 90% of what is already on that album. The Stones didn't do that though, it's more like 30-40% recycled and the rest is different material. Ok, enough about my grumblings about that. The Stones have done it and I have to live with it. Every song on this album is excellent. Die hard fans must have this album for reasons stated above as should casual fans. Ruby Tuesday, Have You Seen Mother Baby, Mother's Little Helper, and Let's Spend The Night Together are staples in most of the Stones greatest hits collections. The cover of My Girl is a nice rendition, Out of Time is great, as are every song on this album/collection. Even though I have some small complaints about this album, I thoroughly enjoy listening to it, and definitely recommend to you whether you're a die hard Stones fan or not.Read full review
Everything was great it was classic stones with bonus tracks, and the price for this Russian import was a deal.
