    The power Zoom connection worked on olde...

    The power Zoom connection worked on older Sony camera models like the a700 and A900. While the Sony A73 & A74 mirrorless have converters to allow functional connection to many A type lens, the power Zoom was evidently not included as part of Sony’s designs. For my Sony A73 I use a LA-EA4, and for the Sony A74 I use LA-EA5. Neither converter would recognize the Minolta 24-105 with power, even though the lens had 8 matching copper connection points. Frankly I was surprised & shocked.
