Wonderful Christmas Present
I bought this for my daughter who is in Kindergarten... she was engrossed with it the moment she got it and her favorite thing is seeing what body parts she can recognize (she loves the stars she gets)... it is so much more versatile than I thought and aside from books we are going to get her the map of the world as she loves to learn about different countries. I would 100% recommend it!

Poor Software Ruins a Great Tool
Leap Reader needs to update their software - now. Read all the forums and you'll see what I mean. A great number of users have brand new Leap Reader pens that simply won't work with Windows 10. Perhaps part of the problem is on Microsoft's side, but I cannot verify that. If other hardware works without a hitch on the same PC, however, why can't the Leap Reader? Avoid the frustration and find a different device that is actually compatible with Windows 10.
