Exactly The piece is a prefab. one can create the shape required and as well use as template for their own out of gal at a slightly thicker gauge. As Described in detail the flex is an excellent economical backing for a proper patch finish surface fitment. We use these often in our resto wheel wells and always create a clean, better than oem, rust free- durable repair. The need for full patch panels is eliminated along with high costs.
