VERY fast ship! The chair is percectly refurbished! Packing was amazing. It took longer to get the bubble wrap off the chair parts than it did to assemble the chair. THAT is a good thing! AND...the chair is amazing. I evaluated long and hard. Because I previously sold Steelcase, I was quite partial to their Leap V2. The Leaf came in and won the battle! I encourage you to do your research before you buy a chair. Tgen go to Madison YouTube is full of great reviews and information.

chair arrived in good condition, this is the second chair I purchased from them (other one was the Steelcase Amia), and this one is really good.
Though the chair and the packaging were all good, for the backrest, there are 2 long screws in a loose bag (maybe package them hanging by one of the zip ties?) that need to be put in below the backrest. I went to the store the next day to buy a T40 screw bit, and does take some elbow grease to get it in tight.

At first, I was slightly hesitant to order after reading the reviews about it being refurbished and some saying it smells like paint, but my chair was absolutely perfect and I would classify this chair as New Open Box. Very pleased with my purchase and happy that I didn’t pay near MSRP from the manufacturer.

I must say that the team at Madison Seating is top notch.. Amazing customer support, very prompt. The chair arrived extremely quick and packaged perfectly, the chair was just as described, used but basically new and the price beyond reflects that. I had a issue with my chair not working properly gas cylinder and reached out to support and to my surprise they went above and beyond any expectation to fix the solution and made it absolutely hassle free in fixing the issue. Recommend buying here. A+

Chair was priced nicely compared to new and looks great out of the box. No idea if it's actually Open Box or Refurbished but it looks as good as new so I'm fine with it. Local FedEx was a nightmare and contacted MS to ask for help even though it's out of their control and their timely responses reflected that. Would definitely buy from this seller again (And hope for UPS delivery. Haha.)

Item was listed as New - Open Box. Item received was refurbished. Seller just told me too bad and that I should be happy I got a good price. Could not disassemble to return. Now have to deal with credit card company. Wouldn’t have minded a refurbished chair if that was what I ordered. I paid a little more thinking it was not a refurb. Buyer beware. Smelled like spray paint out of the box and not sure how well new foam will hold up compared to manufacturer original. Was heavily scratched as well.
