    The State Of Independence........

    I first heard this soundtrack on a radio station a couple of months ago and was completely drawn in. So earthy, so mellow, soothing and catchy. Instrumentals are very good. I was pleasantly surprised that this album was recorded in 1992. Still good stuff! Well I'm still hooked. I find myself humming the tune when faced with a bad situation. This album is great, especially for newbs like me that are you are not critical enough to rate eclectic music. Chrissie Hynde's voice is very lovely and the lyrics are thought provoking. Sing with me now yesss, I do why I'm alive, yesss I do know how I survive...... I have yet to get past this track to listen to the rest of the album thoroughly though. I say definitely try it.

    Not Bad...Not Great

    This album is good but not great.If the KLF's Chill Out is the benchmark for Ambient House this album doesn't come near that. I found it too upbeat and "fun" as if they were not taking things seriously enough.When they were serious it worked.The beats are a bit samey and unsophisticated and very dated in that early 90s way. There are good tracks tho.The two vocal ones (one with Chrissie Hynde) hit the mark but the tracks that mess around and go nowhere are a waste. This album could have been a classic but I don't think there was enough focus by Moodfood on the overall sound/feel of the album.Its not that bad but it could have been better I think.

    Moodfood......hard to find, easy to love

    I was turned on to the music of Moodswings by an eclectic friend who was a DJ. I only had a burnt copy of this CD. After listening to it for about the 1000th time, I decided to find a copy before mine gave out! Great beat, but mellow and easy to listen to at the same time! Chrissie Hynde's vocals on track 9 are nothing short of amazing...as usual. There is just everything to love and nothing to hate about this entire CD! Highly recommended!
