I don't like the reverb - it alters the tone of the guitar. reverb effect itself is okay, but it changes the frequency spectrum of the dry signal, which I don't like. it also seems to have some sort of phasing issue - not a good reverb implementation. and the "notch filter" is ponderous - it seems to act more like an inverse notch, or boost. overall I'm not impressed with either option, but the basic pre-amp works well.

The 'Notch" control helps boost the guitars passive sound into a more pliable sounding punchier sound. The eq controls also add to cleaning the tone from the basic "boominess" of a passive pu. also nice funtion is the balanced XLR connector for use with a monitor / PA system or a DAW recording machine etc.

Tested with blank amp preset.) Right out of the box, the preamp warmed and enhanced the sound. EQ (L,M,H) seemed to be at perfect frequencies. This pedal doesn't seem to have crazy amounts of reverb, just the right subtle amount. My ears also didn't pick up the subtle notch filter, unless other settings were pushed. Makes sense. Subtle to enhance the sound. So far very happy! A++ Seller!
