    Beast of a machine, but tradeoffs.

    So keep in mind that you're getting a GeForce 2060 GPU. The more powerful your GPU, the greater the drain on your battery. That's the tradeoff for performance. Beyond that? I love this thing. Upgrading the RAM was a snap, and while adding a 2TB m.2 NVMe was a little trickier, I've been delighted with the post-upgrade performance here. You WILL want to either add another SSD or use the 2.5" SATA bay for storage; if you buy new, a SATA cable is included. If you buy refurbished as I did, you'll have to go seek out a SATA cable. My initial searches seemed to indicate that some 2.5" SATA cables have issues with this motherboard, so be careful of what you buy if you're in that boat. Otherwise?     Acer Nitro 5 Does its Job Well

    I love my Nitro 5 with an intel i7 and RTX 2060. It runs all the games I want flawlessly, although it does get pretty hot. Without the charger, the laptop will die in less than an hour if playing games, but with max power saving and just general use, you can squeeze 2-3 hours, which is pretty solid for a hard-core laptop. Great experience, and a breeze to upgrade in the future.

    Acer nitro 5

    For a laptop that is used the item is in pretty good condition. It has no major cosmetic wear only a slight dent on the body. It works great and is a good low end budget gaming machine. I am pleased with it.

    Runs great, I really like it.

    Great laptop at good price

    I got a good deal since this was in scratch and dent condition. The actual laptop came in pretty good condition with a barely noticeable scratch on the outside. Everything works perfectly including the screen. I added a 512 GB SSD in the second M.2 slot since the original 256 GB SSD is not the best.
