The TP Link Deco M4 was easy to set up. You start by scanning a QR code in the teeny little book that comes with the system. Because it is all online, I would recommend you use two devices (smart phone, tablet, or computer) for set up. (I recommend you also download the app Speedcheck so you can check on actual speeds). You must use a smartphone or tablet for the actual setup because that is done thru their app. (and write down the damn password. I didn 't.) All 3 units are identical so any of them can serve as your base unit (wireless router) which is connected to your ISPs modem. Unlike the traditional wireless router, there are no antennas sticking out,various lights flashing, and only two ports in the back. After getting everything working the difference is astounding. Less than 50% connection time.
This product could have been better with tech support. Although I was able successfully follow the easy connection instructions, the WiFi quality end up much lower than expected. Connection interrupted much often, and sometimes no connection at all for long time. Trying to find time now to find a solution to this problem.
