    This would have been a great eBay transaction however for whatever reason these were shipped via Smart Post. It took close to a month to receive with various wait times of several days to over a week in between as the package moved through the system. Not the seller's fault and unfortunately not the first time I've had this happen. In the future I will not purchase items on Ebay we're Smart Post will be used to ship!

    Title is required

    The DC 10-40 is a wonderful aviation headset with passive noise reduction. It blocks out the worst of the engine sound in the Piper Cherokee I'm using for training, without clamping down on my head or hurting after wearing for a while. My only complaint is that the microphone does not always pick up my voice until after the first or second syllable. But that is a price I am willing to pay so long as it does not pick up all the engine noise. And the sound quality is good across the board. Obviously some used ones will be better than others, but the headsets are good quality, comfortable, and, I'm told, very durable.

    sweet scent

    "fine condition" was a bit of an exaggeration. Mostly I am unhappy with it's smell, some kind of cleaner I suppose. Would have preferred to clean it myself. The sweet clean-as-a-toilet scent dominates the storage space, even after a swab-down with alcohol.
