This book has every thing you ever wanted to know about RF communications, but didn't know how to ask. One version or another has been in print since 1934. Bill Orr, W6SAI (SK), took the editorial helm in 1959 with the 15th Edition,, and produced the definitive manual of RF communications till the book went out of print after the 23rd Edition in 1987. Every topic is covered, with examples. While the technology may show a little age, the basic principles of RF communications do not change. This book does a great job of helping you understand those fundamental principles. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in ham radio, or the broader field of RF communications.

Excellent, concise reference of the fundamentals of communications electronics design and test. Well written and technically informative. Not overly simplistic, nor overloaded with high powered mathematics. Excellent resource for the intermediate to advanced radio amateur or a professional engineer.
