About this product

Product Information

Dirt bikes and off-road vehicles compete on mud, sand, and asphalt in MX vs. ATV Untamed. The sequel to 2005's MX vs. ATV Unleashed features two modes spanning multiple events: X-Cross and Championship. The former involves advancing through four racing divisions while competing in four distinct events. The latter is a six-week tournament that involves earning points in an attempt to finish first overall. Also included in the PlayStation 2 version of MX vs. ATV: Untamed is a Custom Events option that lets players create their own tournament or race series. Available formats include Supercross, Supermoto, Opencross, Freestyle, Waypoint, Outdoor Nationals, and Freeride.

As in previous games in the series, players can "preload" jumps and perform an assortment of tricks and stunts while in the air. Players can also perfect their stunt skills in the Ski Jump or Hill Climb mini-games. A choice of 250cc and 500cc bikes, ATVs, and vehicles such as a monster truck, sand rail, and dune buggy can be purchased or customized with the money earned from competition. Online support is also included for up to six players, or two friends can compete via split-screen display. Eight professional racers are available to play as or against, from Ricky Carmichael and Davi Millsaps to Kory Ellis and Dana Creech. Both the PlayStation 2 and Wii versions were developed by Incinerator Studios, whose previous racing credits include Cars and Cars: Mater-National Championship on Wii.

Item arrived quickly and as described. It functions perfectly and was not damaged in transit despite the poor packaging of the item. I was honestly a little annoyed to have paid $5 for shipping on a $2 stamp, but it’s still a decent total price and made for an excellent gift. Don’t take my comments negatively; I would buy from this seller again and do recommend others consider this seller as well!

I use a shipping rate for Canada which is the same price no matter which game you buy. The Nintendo DS game that you bought happens to be extremely light. For 95%+ of the games, the shipping price makes sense. However, some games are heavier and some games are lighter than the average - so there is an aspect of fluctuation that I account for. But you're right about the total price, that's what matters, I also currently have "Best Offer" on - so you can always make an offer to get a better price.

  • MX VS. ATV UNTAMED (PS2)

GOOD ACTION GAME FOR KIDS AROUND 10 YEARS OF AGE. IT WILL KEEP THEM INTERESTED FOR A WHILE AND IS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO THE MORE EXPENSIVE WII OR PS3 MX GAMES. DECENT PLAY CONTROL AND WITHOUT ALL OF THE CUSSING AND MAJOR VIOLENCE MAKES THIS A GOOD GAME IN MY BOOK.IF YOU CAN GET IT FOR A CHEAP PRICE GO AHEAD YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID.

  • MX VS ATV UNTAMED

I have had a good time with this game it at times is a little tough but that is what keeps me going to try and beat the curses that they race, some good and some not so good. The reason that I bought it is because I used to ride in the desert but I can not any more, so I do my racing on the PS2. I also have ATV2 that I have had for a while now, and just got board with it so I ran across this and not board any more. I am looking to buy more games such as this in the future.

  • MX vs. ATV Untamed ( sony play station 2, 2007

The game is lots of fun. I love it. I am ten years old. I have alot of fun with this game. I like chasing the dirt bikes. You get to ride around on ATVs, sandrails, dunebuggies, MXs and monster trucks. You get to drive different trails. You can go to an abandoned county fair and ride the rides.

  • Good Deal at e-bay, reallistic, good effects

I liked the crashing slow motion effects, I don't like that in other games when you crash, there is no damage or time lost due to the crash (is unrealistic, like in Gran Turismo 4). like also the 2 player match. I couldn't access the Trophy trucks easily like in the same game for the PS3.

  • NOT up to par...

The graphics aren't all that great compared to other ATV games that came out earlier than this. The controls are a bit difficult to get used to (overly sensitive). The menus seemed a little confusing. I have yet to find any tutorials. Overall I was not happy with this game... If you're looking for a really good ATV game I recommend the ATV Offroad Fury franchise (personally I think 1 and 2 are the best). Happy Gaming!
