Brass is already tarnished and has oxidation in weird patterns. Box is "copywrited" 2008 and all the protective taping looks like it was removed and reapplied. Fingerprints on most parts even under protective tape. Beware, this seller's return policy is "buyer pays shipping" on returns. Thankfully this is for the back door of a vacation home I only see a few times a year and which the door I hardly see, otherwise, I would give up the shipping fee to mail this back.

Buyer did not contact me to get this resolved before leaving this feedback FYI. I would have taken care of this situation immediately for them. This was an honest error as I did not check the content of the box before sending out. I am currently working with the buyer to get this resolved.

The product was listed as "New", but it was obviously used and the seller admitted this and tried to offer me a discount to keep. The item had the sticky backing used. (A new one has a plastic strip over the sticky backing and has a pullout strip to protect the battery.)

Mein you cannot please them all! That is correct, I sent a used one in error and I admitted to it. Tried to resolve this with buyer but to no avail. Offered a refund if he kept it and offered for him to return for refund or exchange. I guess some people you just cannot please not matter how hard you try. I have about 20 more of these. We just sent the wrong one. Not sure why so closed mind. I checked my messages and I offered like 3 times to resolve this for them. DONE!
