Purchased this for my mother who is in the advanced stages of dementia and is losing trunk strength. I did not want her to be left in bed all day. This works well and allows caregivers to easily adjust her position frequently to provide pressure relief for her skin. She seems quite comfortable in it. I do use a RoHo cushion in the seat and an additional back cushion for additional pressure relieve.
