    This is the best version of this tool.

    Let's face it, this is one of, if not THE Cadillac of solder suckers and buying the Japanese 100 VAC version saved around a hundred dollars. SInce my bench is equiped with a variac, I can easily supply it with the needed 100 volts. Also, the power cord is very thin and plyable, compared to the 120/220 VAC models, which makes for much easier handling while in use. Anyway, LOVEIT!!!

    Very nice! I converted AT MY OWN RISK to 120v with 2x 300ohm resistors and it works like a charm. You can definitely hear the pump running slower. I also tested the heating element with a thermometer and temperature seems correct. Thank you!
