He quickly refunded money even though I said I could wait. He reported he would let me know if he found it. After two months nothing. I am very disappointed with this purchase, but I will still give a positive rating because he gave me a positive rating. If we ever complete the sale, I will make this rating much prettier.

    Mac Pro Desktop

    Extremely well designed. Easily upgradeable without a great deal of expense considering its age. Still performing and editing video when many Windows PCs have had to be long forgotten. It is dependable though sometimes a little slow. Already own 1 just like it and will buy another if the price is fair. When it comes to doing graphic work or any type of production work, it can't be beat. My only regret is that Apple doesn't still make them.

    Lots of life left in Mac Pro 1,1

    Horses for courses as they say. When this Mac Pro came up for buy-it-now I bought it. Why a 17 year-old Mac? This model is a workhorse for certain applications. RAM is upgradable to 32 gb. Four hard drives can be mounted on sleds, hot swappable. This allows me to run older operating systems with plenty of storage for video and audio files. It runs at a respectable bus speed (faster than any laptop or I-Mac of that era. Ample USB and firewire ports. Its cheese grater design is not sexy-looking, but better than the bizarre flower pot or wastebasket design of other Macs. More versatile than a Mac Mini, it accepts a variety of video cards. Since it lives under my desk, I care not for looks or for latest, only for performance on my applications, which include older versions of Quark, Adobe, ...

    Best computer I have ever purchased

    I'm glad that I bought this 2008 Mac Pro. It is powerful, flexible and upgradable. A extremely well made and easy to service. I upgraded the memory to 32GB and replaced the boot hard drive with a Solid State drive. I tested the Mac with 4TB, 6TB and 8TB hard drives. All were recognized and useable. Then I added a 10TB drive for my iTunes master. All backups are created with external drives. It came with El Captain OS 10.11.6 installed and I was able to upgrade to High Serra. I have been ripping my DVD collection to iTunes so I can view them on Apple TV. On my old Mac Mini I was using the time to rip a DVD was almost the actual run time of the video. However, with the dual processor, 8 core and running at 3.2 GHz it took 20 minuets to rip a 90 minute video. I love this Mac. . I do not ...

    Love the Mac Pro

    This is my second Mac pro, my first being a 1,1. They are easy to setup, utterly reliable and easily upgradeable. For the 3,1 i installed a new Wifi card that is compliant with Sierra as well as an SSD and am now running 10.12 thanks to Sierra Patcher. With the ability to use up to 32GB of ram and 8 total cores on the processor, this machine has the horsepower to go for years more. Highly recommended

    Powerful & Fast

    I love the Apple Mac Pro Intel Xeon Quad Core Towers so much, I just bought my fourth today. Nothing beats the performance and features. Up to 32GB RAM and loads up fast and run Mac Apps very fast. Looking forward to use these "Old Dinosaurs" for Music Production and maybe more, who knows? Heavy beast so have a strong back. Best buy for older Mac Computers. A++++++++
