Is very nice but the back hole for the pistol grip the hole doesn't line up at all but I just snapped it into place and all is good I am happy with it

It was a little snug fit for the trigger but a bit of sandpaper and it went in. It also came with a new 2 inch screw to replace the back trigger screw. I couldn't get it to thread so I just used the original screw no big deal. All in all it was a easy install. I'm happy so far.

Went together east and came witg new hardware. Everything lined up like it's supposed to. Had to file the opening for the trigger but took about 5 minutes and was ready to go! Very light too!

    Good enough

I'm leaving a 4 out of 5 stars because of the stock's limitations pertaining to what can be installed on it. I purchased this stock with hopes of attacking a bipod to it. I purchased the bipod with the swivel stud adapter kit. I was able to install it but it isn't snug due to the stock's design. I also attempted to put standard sling swivles through the studs that came with the stock. To my surprise, the studs that came with the stock were too small for my swivels to fit through. I will be purchasing new studs in hopes of redoing the bipod attachment as well as the sling. Ultimately, this stock did fit my Marlin 60sn with only a little filing needed to fit it all together nice and snug. The balance of the rifle feels great with this new stock. Its a bit lighter in weight also. Ultimately, ...

    Keep the Marlin stock

I was under the impression it would be more than a snap together piece of plastic. It would have been more impressive if the snapped together pieces actually lined up to a seamless joint. It fit the gun nicely. It was snug, no slop, The install instructions were straight forward and it was easy to install. I haven't gotten out to shoot yet, but I'm thinking it won't be enough to keep consistency and accuracy. I will update this if I am proved wrong in the field.

  • It's no Strikeforce

Just finished installing the ATI Fiberforce on my Marlin Model 60 tube feed. I'm a little disappointed. The fit was no where near as clean as the ATI Strikeforce that I installed on my 10/22 last weekend. I gave it a 4 but would have given it a 3.5 if it was offered. My biggest problem with it is the top cover. Unlike the Strikeforce, the Fiberforce top cover is not held in place with screws. It's a snap fit and it doesn't stay snapped. There are a couple of ways to fix this but you shouldn't have to. The cheek pad could be a bit higher but a set of shorter scope rings will take care of that. The overall finish of the stock is good. There are no unfinished sharp edges The stock feels good in your hands and against your shoulder. Overall, a much better stock than the alternative ...

  • Really nice upgrade to the Marlin Model 60

The stock fits nice, it's lighter than the factory stock and it makes the Model 60 look great. The trigger pull is much more ergonomic. It has also improved my accuracy. All in all I'm very happy with the upgraded stock.

  • A Great Budget Upgrade

As an older shooting aficionado I prefer a pistol grip on anything that goes bang. When my son gave me an older Marlin 60 I saw this alternate stock. This is not the $150 super alternate but it is a budget upgrade that has made the old Marlin (1981) fun to shoot. And there's the cool factor - those that see it at the range are surprised when they find out it's a Marlin. It was a simple install; all in all it took maybe 15 minutes to replace the old wooden stock. The pieces were well cut and drilled. I had trouble with the provided hardware so I did use the original hardware and it worked perfectly. Cheek rest is right on for the mounted 'budget' scope installed and the pistol grip is comfortable. Two sling studs are also provided. Definitely what I would call an "upgrade."
