    ViewSonic VX2450WM 24" inch LCD Monitor

    I paid $163.11 (149.99 plus CA sales tax) including shipping. I, like others reviewing, didn't really need a new monitor as my old 19" monitors (one an HP LCD, one a ViewSonic CRT) are going strong, but at this price .... save a few Watts of energy and get a bigger screen, why not? I really thought that it would be 'okay' but am absolutely amazed at the clarity (and size). Takes some getting used to the wide format, and for viewing Word or PDF documents full-page it is the wrong shape (wide and short) due to the widescreen format (I could probably turn it on the side, but that is strange). However, when writing/reading in page-width mode it is great for the aging eyes! Massive! Crystal clear and glorious picture. Now I want another to replace my other LCD. Built-in speakers are fine ...

    ViewSonic VX2450WM 23.6 inch LCD display

    Was able to get for $195 (price + shipping) thru ebay bid which seemed like a good price. Have been using for 4 weeks and absolutely love the display. Very bright and good color. I am continuing to use my external speakers as sound is not good from monitor speakers. Attached the cable to computer and plugged in and everything worked right off. Originally set up on an 8 year old pc which required me to download new drivers and install on the pc. Once that was done it was simple to reset to recommended monitor resolution settings. Moved to a new pc I just purchased last week and it set up perfectly without having to touch a thing once connected. It is a little slow to come back from "sleep" mode. New pc has a blu ray player and the picture display is fantastic when watching a blu ray ...

    Best Monitor on the market for the money!

    I would give this monitor a solid 5/5 if the speakers sounded decent, which they do not. That is a non issue for me, as I would never rely on the monitor speakers for my sound anyhow, but the rest of the monitor is perfect in my opinion! It looks nice, the picture is perfect and with a vesa mount you can put it anywhere you like! I will be buying another one in the near future if that tells you how much I like it!

    Great value in a 24 inch monitor.

    I purchased this monitor for my stepson who is a gamer, he wanted a large screen for mmo games. This monitor has met all our expectations. The picture is bright and clear in both a lit and unlit room. The set up was very easy. The design is sleek and stylish. Big screen! Even small text is easy to read.I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a 24 inch monitor.

    ViewSonic LED Monitors are Fantastic Values!

    I think there are some buyers out there who still think that ViewSonic is a "secondary brand". Forget that. Several years ago I bought a ViewSonic monitor and thought, "This seems to be a little bit too much monitor for the money?" It was so long ago that it was one of those old "deep" box style monitors! It wasn't a flat screen! Then I got it home and it was terrific until I upgraded it when flat screens came out. ViewSonic monitors are terrific! And this particular deal? "I JUMP on it!" (As the Russian guy says on that TV commercial!) An incredible deal, technologically, quality of viewing, price...BUY a big ViewSonic LED monitor and never look at another brand! Paul / Texas
