The female PCIE 6 pin header is too small and does not fit my male 6 pin connector. it sits loose in the housing, which raises potential safety concerns as if the connection is poor enough the housing can potentially melt as a result of the voltage drop (see ATX 12VHPWR connectors catching fire circa 2023). This was very inexpensive, so I am not alltogether unhappy. I can take the PCIE 6+2 pin headers and manually solder them to my 6 pin connector which should work fine. But what I wanted.
