This model is authentic and a very large scale. I had to shop around to find one in 1:48. Most kits are 1:72. This is a nostalgia build for me as I rode in many of these helicopters when I was in the marines. This model will be painted in the color scheme from the Vietnam era. I haven't actually built it yet because I'm building a C-130 right now. I have already reviewed the model, made my paint list and selected which variance I'm going to build. I have a special connection to the 46. I was a crew chief back in the day. The model appears to have all of its parts intact, still sealed within the plastic bags. This after a very tense initial inspection. It was not well protected during shipping, the packaging was crushed on one side and soaking wet.
