    Lasts ok

    I was having to recharge my iPhone 5s 3 to 4 times a day from what I would consider normal use. Some phone calls, but mainly surfing and texting. Now I charge it all night and usually have to recharge it some mid to late afternoon. So, from 3-4 times to once on recharging. For the price I guess I can't complain too much. I wish it lasted all day, but who knows if the original battery would have lasted me all day. I assume not. Replacing the battery was somewhat technical. I already had tools from a previous screen repair. Make sure you watch a YouTube video before attempting. The battery was packaged good and it's physical appearance was good. It appeared as equal quality to my original OEM battery. It's connector connected perfectly to my iPhone.

    Set your expectation right

    I purchased this item with the expectation of new or almost new battery pulled, but not something that already has ~500 cycles and lost > 10% capacity. In that case, it shouldn't be called "new other", it should be something like used! If you're less technical, you might be happy about an OEM battery. I had a non-OEM battery before, which caused random restarts after a while, so I thought I would go with an OEM one. But it's not right to call a battery in this condition "new other". If you feel comfortable with that, go ahead and make the purchase. The battery arrived quickly, and appeared to be in good cosmetic condition - not sure how it was pulled, I know I physically damaged my battery when i swapped mine last time.

    Product is great! Applying difficult!

    Battery works good and last for 48 hours with high intensity usage (before it was half a day and would shut down with a little colder weather A LOT!). Tools are fine, but one of the broke in the process. Applying it is another story. I used a YouTube video to change the battery. It was SUPER HARD the get the old battery out, so be prepared, it can get messy! Old battery started to get hot when i was bending it out from the case and i was scared that it will catch in fire. Be very careful with teeny-tiny screws, they are microscopic! If you survive the battery change, new one works good!

    So far good battery

    Had to look up a YouTube video and reattach the parts taking the phone apart twice because of no instructions. Be careful dropping the tiny screws. 2nd assembly I was much more careful. Oh and make sure the new battery is flat enough before reassembly. Charged battery to 100% to 0% three times and just its like having a new phone

    Seems to work better than 4 year old battery it replaced.

    Old battery wouldn't last more than 30 min, charged and ran video for about 3.5 hours before it went from 100% to power off. Not the 10 hours quoted when apple released the 5s but not sure I believe those numbers. Was really hard getting old battery out that tape that is supposed to pull and release just pulled and broke, so had to carefully pry out old batter. No replacement tape supplied with this battery. Getting the home button connector re-attached was very difficult with my aging eyes.
