    War of Words: Getting to the heart of your communications struggles-Paul Tripp

    I am still reading the book and i feel like the author is speaking directly to me. I have had to call some of my friends and apologize for hurting them with my words and i feel so bad about the relationships i have destroyed with my tongue and prideful, arrogant,self righteous tongue. I want to be better and use my tongue to edify and glorify God. This book was timely and recommend it to anyone who has not read it.

    real solution for the taming of the tongue

    I have read many books about the struggle with the tongue and have found ideas that sounded great but when applied didn't show any real change (which is why I kept reading more I guess!) This book is the last one you'll have to read on the topic because it tackles the heart of the issue (quite literally as you'll find out!)As with any topic, God gives us the answer in His Word but it really helps to have someone tackle the issue and lay out the answers as Tripp has done for us in this book. And as a habitual failure in mastering my tongue, it is very gracious how he gives example after example of how he has failed too for the purpose of advancing his presentation. So check it out, I don't think you will be disappointed at all!

    It's all about the positive spiritual need in words!!

    First referred to me by a fellow co worker. A revealing spiritual undertaking that will force you to take a more careful look at the way one speaks. I am finding it to be a useful tool in my every day speech. You will not regret a deep study of these scriptural based teachings. Paul David Tripp adds personal and professional flair that helps a person to be more comfortable with our own need to change ourselves, and the deep need to encourage others.

    War of Words

    This book came highly recommended to me and I bought it because I struggle with my tongue. This is the BEST book I've ever read on the subject of our words and how we use them. It's deep, thoroughly Bible-based, God-centered and yet very practical. I would highly recommend this book for every Christian.
