      Lions made a comment you get what you pay for and I disagree. I have seen this same set-up in Jewelry schools as well and Noted to the instructors hey I have that one. This is not a bad machine. I've used it quit nicely to micro-set many things from 1mm and otherwise. I could buy the higher-end machines like many believe they need or not and make use with the tools we have. That's the whole secret of Jewelry making. Not 1. having the most expensive equipment and brand names. but 2. knowing how to make Jewelry and working with tools you have. Do you need expensive optics to micro-set or do fine detail work; some believe; perhaps like Lions, that is the case; .but perhaps some are just not as good a Jeweler as one may think ... In fine; the key is to know how to make Jewelry and working ...
