    Good, but could use some tweaks.

    Instructions could be a little better/clearer. Install time says 90 minutes... Umm... Maybe on a truck that has not been exposed to salt. Installation around the fuel tank does suck, but I did find that I could get my hand in there from under the truck. I would like to know how they expect you to correctly torque the bolt from the rails to the brackets as they sit just above the frame of the truck... Not going to get a socket on those. The rails came in plastic bags for each rail... This did not so the banging between the brackets did cause some scuffs. I would also recommend painting any holes you drill.

    Sturdy kit

    The kit came with all the hardware needed for installation. The instructions were clear and actually in English. The packaging could use beefed up (it was broken open and could have been missing pieces, but luckily was not). The brackets are very sturdy 1/4" plate steel. There are other universal bracket kits available that are cheaper, not as strong, and may require more drilling. This kit is great for serious towing. There was not a hole in the frame for the front bolts so those had to be drilled. I'm a mechanic by trade and I would love to see how anyone could install it in the time it says on the instructions. The hardest part was getting a wrench in to tighten the nuts under the truck bed. If your not good with tools or not mechanically inclined I would not recommend you try ...

    Curt towing products are the best.

    I bought this kit to replace the one that was originally installed on my 2005 K3500. I don't know what brand it was but it had u-bolts clamping it to the frame. If you have this style you better check it often because the u-bolts are prone to break. I replaced it with the Curt frame kit because it bolts to the truck frame no u-bolts. I haul a 39ft 5 wheel.
