    Doesn't seal well, not recommended

    I purchased this large box to keep in my pickup truck bed to store a jack, boat cover, tool bag, misc items, etc. The lid has a foam seal that is supposed to line up with the lower lip on the box to form a dust seal. The plastic is deformed (long edge is curved inward) such that the lip doesn't fit into the groove on the lid to make a seal. While I didn't expect this to be 100% waterproof, I expected the lid to mate well with the box. Not too happy considering the price. I would not recommend this container.

    Great chest

    We mounted this to our UTV trailer, works great, we can now carry tools etc. Thick sides allowed for bolting to the trailer with stainless steel plates.
