    Great Product!!

    Ive been using this for years! I'm a licensed master plumber by trade w nearly 30 years in the trade. As well as do most of my own mechanic work at home. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, lawn mowers, etc. Basically, if you take something off. If theres a chance it may ever need to come out again, anti seaze the threads going back in. If not, I promise you that if youve ever had a bolt snap on you. If youve ever has to drill a bolt. Run an extractor in it. Snapp the extractor. Go buy a diamond tipped bit to drill that extractor out. Remover the bolt to find you got some of the threads w the diamond bit and now you have to redrill and tap the hole. Like I said, if youve never experienced that yet, keep turning wrenches. I promise you eventually you will. Anti seize on the threads of any bolt helps ...

    Surprise mess

    The product is what I expected. The problems were that, for some reason, it took a trip around the country before arriving several days late. When I opened the envelope and removed the bottle......SURPRISE!! The cap was dented and open (messy anti-seize compound all over my hands)!! It took a few minutes to clean up and most of the stuff is still in the bottle so no real damage done. I do wonder, however, if this was a "new, unused" bottle (you'd think the cap would be sealed in some way to avoid just this scenario) or if I received a slightly used product!

    Permatex 80078 Aluminum Anti-Seize Lubricant used on Duramax glow plugs

    Removed eight glow plugs, some defective, from 2008 Silverado 2500HD Duramax diesel engine. Put Permatex anti-seize lubricant on eight new glow plugs and installed them. All functioning properly now. Only time will tell if product acts as expected on removal of any or all of the currently installed glow plugs Product price was reasonable and brush top made application of it easy.
