The colour is much nicer than in the picture... a rich navy. The item arrived quickly (a little over 48 hours from ordering). So far, I have only used the backpack - very well-designed, with 3 main pockets that hold more than the old Carhartt backpack it's replacing. The test for the larger suitcase will be May 23rd to June 10th. A 5 city trip in North Italy, on 8 bullet trains and several hotels. The suitcases look sturdy, but only JFK will let me know how strong they are.

I wish that it had another, more distinctive color, as solid navy, like black, might be difficult to spot on luggage carousel. Looks to be well constructed with lots of handy pockets and zippers. Hubby has a trip planned, in July, we'll see how well the set travels!
