Best for things that don’t move
I bought this to keep track of a roaming cat. Don’t bother. Once he’s out of the house, be patient with other people’s tiles alerting you to his proximity an hour later, but it won’t be exact. My other cat is afraid of it as it is too big and clanky for her and she freaked out over it. Since she doesn’t roam much, I reallocated it to my keys which has already come in very handy. I put another one on my TV remote. Love it for small items around the house but a little disappointed in the pet tracking I bought it for. I’m going to try other more precise, contract-free pet trackers now, but I can highly recommend the tiles for misplaced items and I might get more for, say, the flashlight, scissors and my favorite pen, and maybe a few tools.

Works great on robot vacuums.
Easy to set up. Works the way it should. Sound could be louder, but it's adequate. I use it on my robot vacuums when they don't make it back to their docks and I have to locate them. Easier than getting down on my old knees looking under furniture to locate them. I would recommend these tiles.

Replaceable Battery for longer life
The replaceable battery feature is an improvement over the original, and this purchase included an extra battery for each Tile Mate. These were well-appreciated stocking stuffers, and a couple of them came in handy for finding misplaced phones within days of activation.
