French sex kitten Brigitte Bardot vamps it up as a film star who falls in love with a Prohibition-era bootlegger in RUM RUNNERS (1971). Italian screen siren Sophia Loren won a Best Actress Oscar for her starring turn in Vittorio De Sica's TWO WOMEN (1962) as a Roman mother caught up in the horrors of World War II. Fellow countrywoman Gina Lollobrigida lit up the screen in IMPERIAL VENUS (1963) as Paolina Bonaparte, Napoleon's beloved sister who thirsted for power of her own but could only obtain it through affairs with men. And Italian beauty Virna Lisi stars as an attention-starved woman who feigns a mugging in the streets of Milan and becomes a celebrity with unforeseen consequences in the fable of conscience THE DOLL THAT TOOK THE TOWN (1965).

I am knocking 1 star off the item description because despite being listed as “brand new”, there was damage/peeling of the plastic on the back of the DVD case, as if someone had cut a hole around the UPC. So more of a “like new” condition item.
