purchased the book “my feelings are like wild animals: how do I tame them?” I got it here because the price was $4.72. Condition is as described. The book was bent which likely occurred during shipping, because it was shipped unprotected, by itself. I wish it was shipped in protective cardboard or in a bubble wrap envelope (like other books from eBay.) Fortunately it’s easy to flatten out the bend by putting something heavy on top of the book. Therefore I’ll purchase from this seller again.

  • The shame of Stephen King

This book is so awful that I advise that you are better off tearing your eyes from your head with a rusty ice-pick, than subject them to the horror of reading the redheaded step-child of Kings collection. A lesser Author would end his career with such a putrid submission. A life time ban would be a just punishment for torturing the public with this horrid book. I think that every other book by King rates a minimum 6 more often 9-10. While Geralds Game scores at 1 on the 1-10 scale. Either King produced the worst book of his career in his prime, somehow writing his only book devoid of talent or he put his name of a book that his wife wrote to ensure it's success. That of course is a groundless claim, unless his wife also was an Author, who had maybe published one book in her career, a ...

  • Stephen King, what happened??!?

I try to read as much Stephen King as I can. The first read was The Stand, and have been a HUGE fan ever since. I love the way King intimately details each of his characters and drops the reader inside their minds. His stories are suspenseful, thrilling, terrifying - but the genius is in his character-izations. He can describe the inner workings of our egos and ids, the thoughts we're proud of AND the ones we'd rather not claim as our own. We can read it all in the characters he creates. HOWEVER, in Gerald's Game, as disturbingly revolting as the storyline is, that's not the problem...the timeline doesn't wash. Jessie Burlingame was only in that room, and in her situation, for LESS THAN A DAY AND A HALF. Hallucinations? Dehydration? I know she was in shock, but come on. The book ...

  • Crazy addictive - as all of SK's novels are

How on earth could people write a negative review of 'Gerald's Game'? It sucks you in from the beginning....super novel about what happens when you're left alone.
