    Can't Beat OEM Parts

    Genuine Tecumseh points and condensers are definitely the right way to go. Reproduction ones are acceptable and will get the job done, but OEM parts will give you better performance. From having used both OEM and aftermarket I can tell you that the Tecumseh points and condensers are stronger and are a better fit for the magneto (especially the points). Make sure with the points that you clean them off before installing because new points have preservatives put on them by Tecumseh to help them have a long shelf life. This can be done with WD-40 and a rag or you can lightly rub sand paper on the points to remove the preservative. I'm sure there are other ways to remove it as well.
