    Tickled Pink

    I had been running two monitors for some time on my computer, but with the upgrade to Windows 10, the OS refused to recognize the second monitor on my video card. I went back to one monitor and I was considering getting a newer video card that would work with Windows 10. Then I saw this item and decided to try it. It works great! It does just what I needed it to do and I am back to two monitors again. Definitely worth it.

    Interesting Tech item

    Actually a pretty cool item. I bought the one that outputs VGA 1024x 768 so that I could run a second basic monitor off a Windows 10 system with a video card that only supports a single monitor. The setup was pretty straightforward and everything worked fine. I set it up to extend my screen desktop to a second monitor. I put a surveillance IP camera on the second screen and it works well. The documentation warns not to expect high resolution and don't use it on video with fast motion, but it looks good to me.

    Great quality easy simple to install

    Worked great on windows 7 32/ and 64- bit system. No need for a separate driver. The picture quality was excellent and worked much better the a previously was purchased from a local store. The price was great too.

    Startech -make sure you load driver first

    I installed many of these over the years and with the Startech USB the driver has to be installed first or you will have troubles. Just go to startech website and DL driver and install. I had to do a System Restore the one time I messed up and let windows try to install driver and installed the driver with the Startech USB still plugged in. Great little unit for adding a second monitor. RPM Computer

    Failed to work as planned
