Gr8 replacement
The unit installed easily & I was able to transfer all data from a 30gb old drive to this new one. The old drive was an XP OS, so I installed a Windows 7 over it. No problem. I need to partition it to separate all the programs from the data.

I am very satisfied with my new drive, my year old barracuda from seagate died,, without warning, I need storage I can count on so I went back to Western Digital, for my computing needs.

I bought it as a spare part. Once installed it worked properly immediately on a very selective system as a Macintosh.
