    Good Replacement for Miele S5261

    The part is slightly different to the one in the website image, because it does not have the metal "stiffening" wire on the back of the handle. The original one has lasted over 11 years with regular usage every week. Let's see how long this one lasts, but even if it lasts 5 years, at the much reduced cost compared to the one from Miele website directly, it will have been worth the expenditure. Part easily fitted the existing original flexible hose and without any issues. It fitted inside the main metal extension pole easily, but, to get that final "click" it requires a very small firm push and/or twist action. This is a very minor issue.

    Like the genuine product!

    Don’t bother with a genuine Miele version, this one does the job exactly the same as the genuine one! Great built quality! Can’t tell it apart from original! Fits Miele C6000 Cats & Dogs and it’s exactly the same curve as the original!

    Excellent Replacement

    I am so happy with this curved handle. It did just the job. Have ordered two more. I have 2 Meile vacuums and it fits them both. (Cat and Dog turbo 5000 and Complete C3 ecoline plus). It even clicked into the telescopic tube which other reviews said it didn’t. I also ordered a new telescopic tube (Not Meile brand) as mine didn’t retract anymore and was also very happy with that at a fraction of the cost.

    Ergonomic difference

    It does not fit as smoothly as original and it's curved more. I think Miele's curve is more ergonomical than this one. But those two things are just minor issues, nothing seriously. Price difference 1/5 does matter! Good product for money. In the end, it's only a vacuum tube :)

    as good as the original one

    Excellent value for money. A little bit stiff to pull out of the main tube but I am sure this will improve with use. Overall I would recommend this part, I am very pleased with it.
