Best way to provide cool water for chickens.
This product works well for what it's designed for, providing the chickens with cool water from a insulated jug. It works great if you throw in so old frozen water bottles during the sweltering heat days. The only draw back we've had with them so far is that the washer is a bit on the small side and tends to squish up/distort when you tighten it, so you can't tighten it too tight and therefore it tends to drip. The instructions say to put a vent hole in the jug but we used one for years without knowing we needed one but it does seem to work just fine with one too. The only other draw back is it only has the 2 nipples so if you have quite a few chickens the have to stand in line so if you have the room it may be a good idea to have more than one. We have several jugs left over from our concession stand days but no room to put more than 2. But it does great o provide a source of cool water other than just a pail o after tub that gets hot from the outside.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
