Affordable DAC for New TV and old Hifi Stereo. Cirrus Logic Chip
Probably the best DAC for under $25, has a good decoder chip in it, a metal body for best heat desperation, and can be powered by the USB cable provided hooked into one of your TV's USB outlets. I have had one on a 2017 Samsung for about 5 years now with no problems. Any DAC better than this Fiio D03K with a real noticeable difference, will likely cost $75-100 or even possibly quite a bit more. I bought an extra unit just in case my original breaks. Probably the best DAC for under $25, has a good decoder chip in it, a metal body for best heat desperation, and can be powered by the USB cable provided hooked into one of your TV's USB outlets. Great Simple DAC
DAC is bare bones and does a great job. My application is connecting an old Apple TV 2nd Gen to it and then running the DAC to my vintage stereo receiver. I now have seamless Airplay functionality on my 1970's stereo system that's a notch higher quality than bluetooth. Low noise floor for the price and I highly recommend.

FiiO D3 the best for quality and price.
Worked perfectly with my 2019 Sony 75 inches. TV does not have a RCA jack. With th FiiO D3 converter I was able to use my older Yamaha receiver for surround sound.
