Shipped fast, decent packaging and I thought the items were going to be a bit smaller but it turned out that was my fault and it ended up working out anyway.

    Perfect fit..Genuine OEM Parts!

First i love how everything comes sealed brand new and labeled clearly with subaru part numbers very important for me. Installation went flawless when replacing parts with the exact same parts hence (Genuine OEM) hard to go wrong with a perfect fit!

  • Top critical review

    OEM?

Kit is complete with all you need for a timing belt replacement except water pump. Component boxes came open/ ripped inside a larger box that says china on it. The tensioner is oem made in Japan. The rest is questionable no markings. Belt says subaru lacks lines/markings for alignment with sprockets. Time will tell how long it last defenatively no 90000 miles.

  • OEM is best

I have been servicing and rebuilding Subaru engines for 20 years and have not found an after market product other than gaskets that perform better than OEM parts. Always use Subaru oil filters, water pumps, thermostats, use only genuine coolant and you can't go wrong.

  • Good belt and it was appropriately priced.

Belt appears to be well made. Part will not be installed for a while as current one has more life to go on it. Four star rating only because it is not in the car yet.

  • OEM or bust!

These may be the most important parts in your car to spend the extra dollar and get OEM quality or better parts. I put these in at around 110k-112k miles (purchased with 109k because I could hear the pulley bearings. To my surprise the parts I removed were not the original equipment. Someone had replaced them with the cheaper Chinese pulleys. I believe the manual recommend replacing the timing belt and pulleys (torque pulleys to 28ftlbs) every 105k miles. Chances are the belt and pulleys that I replaced were only on the vehicle for 10,000 miles or less. When I put the new belt and pulleys in there was a night and day difference in performance. My gas mileage improved and it sounded way better even. Rather than wasting a pile of money trying to add horsepower parts to your car you can give ...
