    The Best!!!

    I've enjoyed good coffee from my drip machine for years. But my friend's coffee was always the best. He is from Croatia and introduced me to this method. I also recently got an electric percolator, mostly out of curiosity, since I've used the Bialetti and Vev Vigano stovetop moka pots for the last 2-3 years, since around 2014. The percolator is interesting and good, but still not as good as the Bialetti. The Bialetti also makes it on the strong side. And the aluminum pots are very hot, hotter than the stainless. I will now reveal my little secret. The older ones are made in Italy and are better made, better machined, milled and just kind of better. The top and bottom fit better, no dripping. Easily available for about twenty bucks, just unbeatable... and fun! And easy to make and easy to ...

    So Disappointed

    I was so looking forward to using this iconic Italian coffee maker but two flaws appeared immediately. One it says 3 cup maker but it’s more like 2 cups in terms of size. It seemed small to me. The second thing was that the handled melted while brewing. Yes the handle melted into a pile of plastic. Sadly I haven’t seen this level of Italian craftsmanship since I sold my Fiat. No reason to buy this specific brand.

    Great strong coffee every time

    This is great. The 3 cup model is perfect for me. It makes about a half a cup of coffee but it is really dark and rich. I often make an "Americana" with it. I am still experimenting with different flame heights as I do not want to boil or burn the coffee as it is being made. Also experimenting with grinds. I have not achieved the correct grind yet with my blade grinder so I ordered a hand operated burr grinder. I will try to attach a picture to this review of the 3rd cup i made with this, (the 1st 2 cups i threw away from recommendations in some reviews) you will love the coffee! I used Espresso roast beans from Costco. You get faster at making coffee with this. I will never get rid of it.     This is by far the best way to enjoy true Italian coffee.

    This is a great product. My wife and I used it while we were visiting Italy and we promptly fell in love with it. As soon as I got back, we bought one for ourselves and use it regularly. This is an awesome product. While it is brewing, the coffee smell that permeates the house is heavenly. And the coffee that comes out is strong, exactly like the rich European kind. Love it.
