Well, for the price the keyboard was in perfect shape, but it is less quality than the original...or at least feels that way. getting the old keyboard out was a disaster, but going back in should have been easy, my experience was that a few keys popped of in the process and in trying to pop them back in place, one of the keys broke. It may be the case with all of these chicklet keyboards, but the keys are clacky and feel cheap. I would by again though, I am happy with the purchase.

First off, I am not a word processor or typist - so as to the feel or feedback of the key pressing experience, I can only say that it fits my needs. Easy fit for the T540P which did not have a back-lighted keyboard before now. It worked just by hooking it up - no extra driver installation needed for my laptop anyway.
