Great for the money!
If you are looking to try a dot sight and don't want to break the bank, these are a great option. Good build quality, nice features, and shake awake at this price point is rare. Large viewing window, but not obstrusive in a holster. Pay attention to the model you are getting, the SCRD-36 is RMR footprint.

Very good budget optic
This is the very best budget RMR footprint optic out there. I used to only recommend the Swampfox or Holosun (they are really mid level); however with the Vector there truly is a “budget” option that works……..and so far, for me, works well. This will NEVER have the durability of a Trijicon or even a Holosun, but for what it is…….it works and works well. Just not for duty use or hard level/extreme use. The dot is clean and bright, the glass is clear and controls and easy to use. For the price it’s a winner.This is the very best budget RMR footprint optic out there. This red dot really surprised me. I thought for the price it might be ok but it exceeded my expectations. Very large window to see through and holds zero great. It kinda reminds me of the SRO in a way. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an RMR footprint red dot that cant afford a Trijicon or Holosun. It might just be the next best thing.

So far, so good
I got this sight SCRD-36 installed and zeroed with no problems. I can't really comment on it's ability to hold zero yet, I've only fired 50 rounds of 68 grain 5.56x45mm with it. Nor has it been on long drives with all the vibration, or banged around on a hunting trip. One thing to note is that it does not have "click" adjustment, but the scale is very clearly marked. It's very easy to select brightness levels and turn On/Off, and comes on instantly when in Standby mode. If it'll hold zero and stand up to high round counts and the battering of daily life I'll keep it. Great optic for the price.
Put this optic on a glock17 and fired roughly 100 plus +P ammo through it. The red dot is daylight bright and I had no issues picking it up on a sunny day. The optic held zero and had a large window which helped with faster follow up shots. The shake awake function seems to work as advertised. It is light weight construction, so good for plinking or competition but a little light for duty carry.
