    AKG K712 Pro Headphones

    Very good sounding headphone, very clear high end & mids, bass is tight. Requires more power to drive than other brand headphones that I own. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, if a little bit bulky on your head. They are light weight. Highly recommend them.

    ONE OF THE BEST HEADPHONE SETS THERE IS AT ANY PRICE!

    I have gone through a lot of headphones. Like many of those these are not the best at everything but what they are good for is giving you a fairly good representation of a mix. Nothing is overly colored and the soundstage is wonderful. Below the $1500 range these are difficult to beat. I find myself using different sets of headphones for different things. For my computer I like the Sony MDR 7506's. For tracking I like the ATH m40's or MX50's but for checking a mix and getting it close to what my studio monitors will give me these are what I use hands down. You cannot go wrong with these for that application!.

    Best phones to my taste.No vail-clean and crisp bass.

    Have been using these now for a couple of days and they sound wonderful.I have AKG q701 and these are much more musical to my ears.I have been using AKG headphones for 20 + years and find their sound to be very close to my dynaudio speakers,these k712 phones have a less harsh signature in the high range and a slight increase in bass response while remaining clean over the Q701.Great phones for jazz,classical and all music except maybe those who wish a muddy pronounced bass.Great product.

    Best Thing I've Ever Heard

    It's as though Bruce Springsteen himself is sitting next to me and singing sweet nothings to me while massaging my ears. Not only do these sound amazing, but they're oh so comfortable. My first pair of hifi cans. I love everything about them. I can hear EVERYTHING. Yes, even you as you read this review. Good for music, movies, and gaming.
