Used on minor aches and pains it has a remarkable easing effect. It`s not a magic wand but if used correctly and with rest it will aid recovery Always consult medical advice for the best course of treatment. Personally I would recommend this massager having used a similar one for number of years because earlier relief of muscle discomfort is better that waiting for relief at the Doctors or Hospital. But be careful.
